Mark 10:46-48

⁴⁶ Then they came to Jericho. And as He went out of Jericho with His disciples (and a great multitude), Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, a blind man, sat by the wayside, begging.

⁴⁷ And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry and say, “Jesus! The Son of David! Have mercy on me!”

⁴⁸ And many rebuked him and told him to be quiet. But he cried much more, “O, Son of David! Have mercy on me!”
