² Then the Pharisees came and asked Him if it were lawful for a man to divorce his wife, and tempted Him.

³ And He answered, and said to them, “What did Moses command you?”

⁴ And they said, “Moses permitted to write a Bill of Divorcement, and to divorce her.”
