¹⁸ “Why do you call me good?” Jesus asked him. “No one is good except God alone.^(A)

²⁸ We know that all things work together^[a] for the good^[b] of those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.^(A)

¹³ No one undergoing a trial should say, “I am being tempted by God,” since God is not tempted by evil, and he himself doesn’t tempt anyone.
