3 He will be like a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the sons of Levi and refine them like gold and silver.(A) Then they will present offerings to the Lord in righteousness. 4 And the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will please the Lord as in days of old(B) and years gone by.
5 “I will come to you in judgment, and I will be ready to witness against sorcerers and adulterers; against those who swear falsely; against those who oppress the hired worker, the widow, and the fatherless; and against those who deny justice to the resident alien.(C) They do not fear me,”(D) says the Lord of Armies.

3 He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver;(A) he will purify(B) the Levites and refine them like gold and silver.(C) Then the Lord will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,(D) 4 and the offerings(E) of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the Lord, as in days gone by, as in former years.(F)
5 “So I will come to put you on trial. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers,(G) adulterers(H) and perjurers,(I) against those who defraud laborers of their wages,(J) who oppress the widows(K) and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners(L) among you of justice, but do not fear(M) me,” says the Lord Almighty.

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.
4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the Lord, as in the days of old, and as in former years.
5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.
