21 “वह, जो मुझे पकड़वाएगा हमारे साथ इस भोज में शामिल है. 22 मैं ये सब इसलिए कह रहा हूँ कि मनुष्य का पुत्र, जैसा उसके लिए तय किया गया है, ठीक उसी के अनुसार आगे बढ़ रहा है किन्तु धिक्कार है उस व्यक्ति पर जिसके द्वारा मनुष्य का पुत्र पकड़वाया जा रहा है!” 23 यह सुन वे आपस में विचार-विमर्श करने लगे कि वह कौन हो सकता है, जो यह करने पर है.

21 “किन्तु देखो, मुझे जो धोखे से पकड़वायेगा, उसका हाथ यहीं मेज़ पर मेरे साथ है। 22 क्योंकि मनुष्य का पुत्र तो मारा ही जायेगा जैसा कि सुनिश्चित है किन्तु धिक्कार है उस व्यक्ति को जिसके द्वारा वह पकड़वाया जाएगा।”
23 इस पर वे आपस में एक दूसरे से प्रश्न करने लगे, “उनमें से वह कौन हो सकता है जो ऐसा करने जा रहा है?”
