En fattig änka ger allt hon har

(Mark 12:41-44)

21 Jesus såg upp och lade märke till hur de rika lade sina gåvor i offerkistorna. Men han såg också hur en fattig änka lade dit två kopparslantar.

Då sa han: ”Sannerligen, den där fattiga änkan gav mer än alla de andra, för de tog bara en liten del av sitt överflöd och lade det bland gåvorna. Men hon, som är så fattig, lade dit allt hon hade att leva på.”

The Widow’s Offering(A)

21 As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury.(B) He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. “Truly I tell you,” he said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.”(C)

And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.

And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:

For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
