27 But I say to you truthfully, (A)there are some of those standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.”

28 (B)Now it happened some eight days after these words, that taking along (C)Peter and John and James, He (D)went up on the mountain (E)to pray. 29 And it happened that while He was (F)praying, the appearance of His face (G)became different, and His clothing became white and [a]gleaming.

28 About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James(B) with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.(C) 29 As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning.
