Jesus Foretells His Death and Resurrection

²¹ He sternly ordered and commanded them not to tell anyone,^(A)

²⁰ Then he sternly ordered the disciples not to tell anyone that he was^[a] the Messiah.^[b](A)

⁹ As they were coming down the mountain, Jesus ordered them, “Tell no one about the vision until after the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”^(A)

³⁰ And he sternly ordered them not to tell anyone about him.^(A)

³¹ Then he began to teach them that the Son of Man must undergo great suffering and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests, and the scribes and be killed and after three days rise again.
