8 After this, while Jesus was traveling through some ·cities [or towns] and ·small towns [villages], he preached and ·told [proclaimed; announced] the ·Good News [Gospel] about God’s kingdom. The twelve apostles were with him, ² and also some women who had been healed of sicknesses and ·evil [defiling; ^Lunclean; 4:33] spirits: Mary, called Magdalene [^Cprobably because she was from the town of Magdala], from whom seven demons had gone out;
