³⁰ Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back.^{(A) 31} Do to others as you would have them do to you.^(B)

³² “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?^(C) Even sinners love those who love them. ³³ And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. ³⁴ And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you?^(D) Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. ³⁵ But love your enemies, do good to them,^(E) and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children^(F) of the Most High,^(G) because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. ³⁶ Be merciful,^(H) just as your Father^(I) is merciful.

Judging Others^(J)

³⁷ “Do not judge, and you will not be judged.^(K) Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.^{(L) 38} Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.^(M) For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”^(N)

³² “Do not be afraid,^(A) little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.^{(B) 33} Sell your possessions and give to the poor.^(C) Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven^(D) that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys.^{(E) 34} For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.^(F)
