20 When he saw their faith, he said to him, Man, your sins are forgiven you. 21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to think, saying, What fellow is this, who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins, but God only?
22 When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered and said to them, What are you thinking in your hearts?

21 The Pharisees and the teachers of the law began thinking to themselves, “Who is this fellow who speaks blasphemy? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”(B)
22 Jesus knew what they were thinking and asked, “Why are you thinking these things in your hearts?
