3 In the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar,^[a] while Pontius Pilate was governor of Judea,^(A) Herod was tetrarch^[b] of Galilee,^(B) his brother Philip tetrarch of the region of Iturea^[c] and Trachonitis,^[d] and Lysanias tetrarch of Abilene,^[e]

¹⁹ But Herod the tetrarch,^(A) being rebuked by him about Herodias, his brother’s wife, and about all the evil things Herod had done,^(B)

³¹ At that time some Pharisees came and told Him, “Go, get out of here! Herod^(A) wants to kill You!”^(B)

⁷ Finding that He was under Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod,^(A) who was also in Jerusalem during those days.

13 In the church that was at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius the Cyrenian, Manaen, a close friend of Herod the tetrarch,^(A) and Saul.
