²⁷ And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures.

²⁸ They drew near the village where they were traveling, and He seemed to be going farther. ²⁹ But they urged Him, saying, “Stay with us. For it is nearly evening and the day is far spent.” So He went in to stay with them.
