24 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices that they had prepared.^{(A) 2} They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, ³ but when they went in they did not find the body.^[a]

³⁰ When he was at the table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.^{(A) 31} Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he vanished from their sight.
