Jesus Before Herod

⁶ When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the Man was a Galilean. ⁷ When he learned that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.

⁸ When Herod saw Jesus, he greatly rejoiced, for he had desired to see Him for a long time, because he had heard many things of Him, and he was hoping to see some miracle performed by Him.
