The Crucifixion

^33 (A)And when they came to the place called ^[a]The Skull, there they crucified Him and the criminals, one on the right and the other on the left. ³⁴ [^[b]But Jesus was saying, “^(B)Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”] ^(C)And they cast lots, dividing His garments among themselves.

⁵⁹ They went on stoning Stephen as he ^(A)called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!” ⁶⁰ Then he ^(B)fell on his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, ^(C)do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he ^[a](D)fell asleep.
