Jesus Before the Sanhedrin

54 And they arrested him and[a] led him[b] away and brought him[c] into the house of the high priest. But Peter was following at a distance. 55 And when they[d] had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them. 56 And a certain female slave, seeing him sitting in the light and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him!”

She looked closely at him and said, “This man was with him.”
