¹⁵ Then he said to them, ‘I have fervently desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. ¹⁶ For I tell you, I will not eat it again^[a] until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.’^{(A) 17} Then he took a cup,^(B) and after giving thanks,^(C) he said, ‘Take this and share it among yourselves.
