¹⁹ and Mary treasured all these words and pondered them in her heart.^(A)

⁵¹ Then he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was obedient to them, and his mother treasured all these things in her heart.^(A)

⁶⁶ All who heard them pondered them and said, “What then will this child become?” For indeed the hand of the Lord was with him.^(A)

¹² David took these words to heart and was very much afraid of King Achish of Gath.^(A)

¹¹ So his brothers were jealous of him, but his father kept the matter in mind.^(A)

Jesus Again Foretells His Death

While everyone was amazed at all that he was doing, he said to his disciples,^{(A) 44} “Let these words sink into your ears: The Son of Man is going to be betrayed into human hands.”^(B)
