^{[a] 14} I tell you, this man, rather than the other, went down to his home declared righteous. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

¹⁵ Now they were bringing even their babies to Yeshua, so He might touch them. But when the disciples saw this, they began rebuking them. ¹⁶ But Yeshua called for them, saying, “Let the little children come to Me and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
