The Parable of the Persistent Widow

18 He then told them a parable on the need for them to pray^(A) always and not become discouraged:^(B)

The Light of the Gospel

4 Therefore, since we have this ministry because we were shown mercy,^(A) we do not give up.^(B)

¹⁶ Therefore we do not give up.^(A) Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person^(B) is being renewed day by day.

⁹ So we must not get tired^(A) of doing good,^(B) for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.

¹³ So then I ask you not to be discouraged^(A) over my afflictions on your behalf, for they are your glory.^(B)
