²⁰ And a certain poor man, Lazarus by name, had been put at his gate— having been covered-with-sores, ²¹ and desiring to be filled-to-satisfaction by the things falling from the table of the rich man. Even^[a] indeed the dogs coming were licking his sores. ²² And it came about that the poor man died and he was carried-away by the angels to the bosom of Abraham. And the rich man also died and was buried.
