⁴¹ Peter said, “Lord, are you telling this parable to us or to everybody?”

⁴² The Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise manager,^[a] whom the master will put in charge of his servants to give them their food allowance at the proper time? ⁴³ Blessed is that servant whom his master will find doing so when he comes.
