Luke 11:51-53
New English Translation

51 from the blood of Abel[a] to the blood of Zechariah,[b] who was killed[c] between the altar and the sanctuary.[d] Yes, I tell you, it will be charged against[e] this generation. 52 Woe to you experts in religious law! You have taken away[f] the key to knowledge! You did not go in yourselves, and you hindered[g] those who were going in.”

53 When he went out from there, the experts in the law[h] and the Pharisees began to oppose him bitterly,[i] and to ask him hostile questions[j] about many things,
