Luke 11:40-42

⁴⁰Fools!^(A) Didn’t he who made the outside make the inside too? ⁴¹But give from what is within to the poor,^[a]^(B) and then everything is clean^(C) for you.

⁴²“But woe^(D) to you Pharisees! You give a tenth^[b]^(E) of mint, rue, and every kind of herb, and you bypass^[c] justice^(F) and love for God.^[d]^(G) These things you should have done without neglecting the others.
