⁴⁶And Mary said,

^(A)“My ^(B)soul ^(C)magnifies the Lord,
⁴⁷    ^(D)and my ^(E)spirit rejoices in ^(F)God my Savior,
⁴⁸for ^(G)he has looked on the humble estate of his servant.
    For behold, from now on all generations ^(H)will call me blessed;
⁴⁹for ^(I)he who is mighty ^(J)has done great things for me,
    and ^(K)holy is his name.
⁵⁰And ^(L)his mercy is for those who fear him
    from generation to generation.
⁵¹^(M)He has shown strength with his arm;
    ^(N)he has scattered the proud in the thoughts of their hearts;
⁵²^(O)he has brought down the mighty from their thrones
    ^(P)and exalted those of humble estate;
⁵³he has filled ^(Q)the hungry with good things,
    and the rich ^(R)he has sent away empty.

²³^(A)And who is like your people Israel, the one nation on earth whom God went to redeem to be his people, making himself a name ^(B)and doing for them^[a] great and awesome things by driving out before your people,^[b] whom ^(C)you redeemed for yourself from Egypt, a nation and its gods? ²⁴^(D)And you established for yourself your people Israel to be your people forever. And you, O Lord, became their God. ²⁵And now, O Lord God, confirm forever the word that you have spoken concerning your servant and concerning his house, and do as you have spoken. ²⁶And your name will be magnified forever, saying, ‘The Lord of hosts is God over Israel,’ and the house of your servant David will be established before you. ²⁷For you, O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, have made this revelation to your servant, saying, ‘I will build you a house.’ Therefore your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you. ²⁸And now, O Lord God, you are God, and ^(E)your words are true, and you have promised this good thing to your servant. ²⁹Now therefore may it please you to bless the house of your servant, so that it may continue forever before you. Galatians 3:6-14

⁶just as ^(A)Abraham “believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness”?

⁷Know then that it is ^(B)those of faith who are ^(C)the sons of Abraham. ⁸And the Scripture, foreseeing that ^(D)God would justify^[a] the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ^(E)“In you shall all the nations be blessed.” ⁹So then, those who are of faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of faith.

The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

¹⁰For all who rely on works of the law are ^(F)under a curse; for it is written, ^(G)“Cursed be everyone who does not ^(H)abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.” ¹¹Now it is evident that ^(I)no one is justified before God by the law, for ^(J)“The righteous shall live by faith.”^[b] ¹²But the law is not of faith, rather ^(K)“The one who does them shall live by them.” ¹³Christ ^(L)redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, ^(M)“Cursed is everyone who is hanged ^(N)on a tree”— ¹⁴so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might ^(O)come to the Gentiles, so that ^(P)we might receive ^(Q)the promised Spirit^[c] through faith.
