8 Dar Zacheu a stat înaintea Domnului şi I-a zis: „Iată, Doamne, jumătate din avuţia mea o dau săracilor şi, dacă am năpăstuit(A) pe cineva cu ceva, îi dau înapoi(B) împătrit”. 9 Isus i-a zis: „Astăzi a intrat mântuirea în casa aceasta, căci şi(C) el este fiul(D) lui Avraam. 10 Pentru că(E) Fiul omului a venit să caute şi să mântuiască ce era pierdut.”

8 But Zacchaeus stood up and said to the Lord,(A) “Look, Lord! Here and now I give half of my possessions to the poor, and if I have cheated anybody out of anything,(B) I will pay back four times the amount.”(C)
9 Jesus said to him, “Today salvation has come to this house, because this man, too, is a son of Abraham.(D) 10 For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”(E)
