¹⁶ “‘If, however, their offering is the result of a vow^(A) or is a freewill offering,^(B) the sacrifice shall be eaten on the day they offer it, but anything left over may be eaten on the next day.^(C)

³⁸ which the Lord gave Moses^(A) at Mount Sinai^(B) in the Desert of Sinai on the day he commanded the Israelites to bring their offerings to the Lord.^(C)

²¹ When anyone brings from the herd or flock^(A) a fellowship offering^(B) to the Lord to fulfill a special vow or as a freewill offering,^(C) it must be without defect or blemish^(D) to be acceptable.^(E)

³⁸ These offerings^(A) are in addition to those for the Lord’s Sabbaths^(B) and^[a] in addition to your gifts and whatever you have vowed and all the freewill offerings^(C) you give to the Lord.)

⁹ “‘If what they vowed is an animal that is acceptable as an offering to the Lord,^(A) such an animal given to the Lord becomes holy.^(B)
