²⁶ The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area,^(A) in the courtyard^(B) of the tent of meeting.^(C)

¹¹ Slaughter it in the Lord’s presence^(A) at the entrance to the tent of meeting.

¹³ Eat it in the sanctuary area,^(A) because it is your share and your sons’ share of the food offerings presented to the Lord; for so I have been commanded.^(B)

²⁴ He shall bathe himself with water in the sanctuary area^(A) and put on his regular garments.^(B) Then he shall come out and sacrifice the burnt offering for himself and the burnt offering for the people,^(C) to make atonement for himself and for the people.^(D)

⁹ It belongs to Aaron and his sons,^(A) who are to eat it in the sanctuary area,^(B) because it is a most holy^(C) part of their perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the Lord.”

¹⁰ Eat it as something most holy; every male shall eat it.^(A) You must regard it as holy.^(B)
