31 All the fat shall be taken off, just as in the procedure for the thank offering sacrifice, and the priest shall burn it upon the altar; and the Lord will appreciate it. Thus the priest shall make atonement for that man, and he shall be forgiven.

32 “However, if he chooses to bring a lamb as his sin offering, it must be a female without physical defect. 33 He shall bring it to the place where the burnt offerings are killed, and lay his hand upon its head and kill it there as a sin offering.

31 They shall remove all the fat, just as the fat is removed from the fellowship offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar(A) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(B) In this way the priest will make atonement(C) for them, and they will be forgiven.(D)

32 “‘If someone brings a lamb(E) as their sin offering, they are to bring a female without defect.(F) 33 They are to lay their hand on its head and slaughter it(G) for a sin offering(H) at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered.(I)

31 He shall remove all its fat, as the fat is removed from the sacrifice of well-being, and the priest shall turn it into smoke on the altar for a pleasing odor to the Lord. Thus the priest shall make atonement on your behalf, and you shall be forgiven.

32 “If the offering you bring as a purification offering is a sheep, you shall bring a female without blemish.(A) 33 You shall lay your hand on the head of the purification offering; it shall be slaughtered as a purification offering at the spot where the burnt offering is slaughtered.

31 They must remove all the fat in the same way the fat is removed from the friendship offering. The priest must burn it on the altar. Its smell pleases the Lord. When the priest burns the offering, he will pay for their sin. And they will be forgiven.

32 “ ‘Suppose someone brings a lamb as their sin offering. Then they must bring a female animal. It must not have any flaws. 33 They must place their hand on its head. They must kill it as a sin offering. They must do it at the place where the animals for burnt offerings are killed.
