Felurite legi ca tâlcuire a poruncilor
19 Domnul a vorbit lui Moise şi a zis: 2 „Vorbeşte întregii adunări a copiilor lui Israel şi spune-le:
‘Fiţi(A) sfinţi, căci Eu sunt sfânt, Eu, Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 3 Fiecare(B) din voi să cinstească pe mamă-sa şi pe tatăl său şi să păzească Sabatele(C) Mele. Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 4 Să(D) nu vă întoarceţi spre idoli(E) şi să nu vă faceţi dumnezei turnaţi. Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru.
Porunci privitoare la jertfa de mulţumire
5 Când(F) veţi aduce Domnului o jertfă de mulţumire, s-o aduceţi aşa ca să fie primită. 6 Jertfa să fie mâncată în ziua când o veţi jertfi sau a doua zi; ce va mai rămâne până a treia zi să se ardă în foc. 7 Dacă va mânca cineva din ea a treia zi, faptul acesta va fi un lucru urât: jertfa nu va fi primită. 8 Cine va mânca din ea îşi va purta vina păcatului său, căci necinsteşte ce a fost închinat Domnului: omul acela va fi nimicit din poporul lui. 9 Când(G) vei secera holdele ţării, să laşi nesecerat un colţ din câmpul tău şi să nu strângi spicele rămase pe urma secerătorilor. 10 Nici să nu culegi strugurii rămaşi după cules în via ta şi să nu strângi boabele care vor cădea din ei. Să le laşi săracului şi străinului. Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 11 Să nu(H) furaţi şi să nu minţiţi, nici să nu vă(I) înşelaţi unii pe alţii. 12 Să(J) nu juraţi strâmb pe Numele Meu, căci ai(K) necinsti astfel Numele Dumnezeului tău. Eu sunt Domnul. 13 Să nu asupreşti pe aproapele(L) tău şi să nu storci nimic de la el prin silă.
Să nu opreşti până a doua zi plata(M) celui tocmit cu ziua. 14 Să nu vorbeşti de rău pe un surd şi să nu pui înaintea unui orb(N) nimic care să-l poată face să cadă, ci să te temi(O) de Dumnezeul tău. Eu sunt Domnul. 15 Să(P) nu faci nedreptate la judecată: să nu cauţi la faţa săracului şi să nu părtineşti pe nimeni din cei mari, ci să judeci pe aproapele tău după dreptate. 16 Să(Q) nu umbli cu bârfeli în poporul tău. Să nu te ridici(R) împotriva vieţii aproapelui tău. Eu sunt Domnul. 17 Să nu(S) urăşti pe fratele tău în inima ta; să mustri(T) pe aproapele tău, dar să nu te încarci cu un păcat din pricina lui. 18 Să nu(U) te răzbuni şi să nu ţii necaz pe copiii poporului tău. Să(V) iubeşti pe aproapele tău ca pe tine însuţi. Eu sunt Domnul. 19 Să păziţi legile Mele.
Să nu împreunezi vite de două soiuri deosebite; să nu(W) semeni în ogorul tău două feluri de seminţe şi să nu porţi o haină(X) ţesută din două feluri de fire. 20 Când un om se va culca cu o femeie roabă, logodită cu un alt bărbat, şi ea n-a fost răscumpărată de tot sau slobozită, să fie pedepsiţi amândoi, dar nu pedepsiţi cu moartea, pentru că ea nu era slobodă. 21 El(Y) să aducă Domnului pentru vina lui la uşa cortului întâlnirii un berbec ca jertfă pentru vină. 22 Preotul să facă ispăşire pentru el înaintea Domnului, pentru păcatul pe care l-a făcut, cu berbecul adus ca jertfă pentru vină, şi păcatul pe care l-a făcut îi va fi iertat. 23 Când veţi intra în ţară şi veţi sădi tot felul de pomi roditori, roadele lor să le priviţi ca netăiate împrejur; timp de trei ani să fie netăiate împrejur pentru voi; să nu mâncaţi din ele. 24 În al patrulea an, toate roadele să fie închinate Domnului, spre lauda(Z) Lui. 25 În al cincilea an, să mâncaţi roadele, ca ele să vi se înmulţească din ce în ce mai mult: Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 26 Să(AA) nu mâncaţi nimic cu sânge. Să nu ghiciţi(AB) după vârcolaci, nici după nori. 27 Să nu-ţi tai rotund colţurile(AC) părului şi să nu-ţi razi colţurile bărbii. 28 Să nu vă faceţi tăieturi(AD) în carne pentru un mort şi să nu vă faceţi slove săpate pe voi. Eu sunt Domnul. 29 Să(AE) nu-ţi necinsteşti fata dând-o să fie curvă, pentru ca nu cumva ţara să ajungă un loc de curvie şi să se umple de fărădelegi. 30 Să păziţi Sabatele(AF) Mele şi să(AG) cinstiţi Locaşul Meu cel Sfânt. Eu sunt Domnul. 31 Să nu vă duceţi la cei ce cheamă(AH) duhurile morţilor, nici la vrăjitori: să nu-i întrebaţi, ca să nu vă spurcaţi cu ei. Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 32 Să te scoli înaintea(AI) perilor albi şi să cinsteşti pe bătrân. Să te(AJ) temi de Dumnezeul tău. Eu sunt Domnul. 33 Dacă un(AK) străin vine să locuiască împreună cu voi în ţara voastră, să nu-l asupriţi. 34 Să vă purtaţi cu străinul care locuieşte între voi ca şi cu un băştinaş(AL) din mijlocul vostru; să-l(AM) iubiţi ca pe voi înşivă, căci şi voi aţi fost străini în ţara Egiptului. Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru. 35 Să nu faceţi(AN) nedreptate la judecată, nici în măsurile de lungime, nici în greutăţi, nici în măsurile de încăpere. 36 Să aveţi cumpene(AO) drepte, greutăţi drepte, efe[a] drepte şi hine drepte. Eu sunt Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, care v-am scos din ţara Egiptului. 37 Să păziţi(AP) toate legile Mele şi toate poruncile Mele şi să le împliniţi. Eu sunt Domnul’.”

19 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say to them: (A)‘You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.
3 (B)‘Every one of you shall revere his mother and his father, and (C)keep My Sabbaths: I am the Lord your God.
4 (D)‘Do not turn to idols, (E)nor make for yourselves [a]molded gods: I am the Lord your God.
5 ‘And (F)if you offer a sacrifice of a peace offering to the Lord, you shall offer it of your own free will. 6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day. And if any remains until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire. 7 And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination. It shall not be accepted. 8 Therefore everyone who eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the hallowed offering of the Lord; and that person shall be cut off from his people.
9 (G)‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. 10 And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather every grape of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the poor and the stranger: I am the Lord your God.
11 (H)‘You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, (I)nor lie to one another. 12 And you shall not (J)swear by My name falsely, (K)nor shall you profane the name of your God: I am the Lord.
13 (L)‘You shall not cheat your neighbor, nor rob him. (M)The wages of him who is hired shall not remain with you all night until morning. 14 You shall not curse the deaf, (N)nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God: I am the Lord.
15 ‘You shall do no injustice in (O)judgment. You shall not (P)be partial to the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty. In righteousness you shall judge your neighbor. 16 You shall not go about as a (Q)talebearer among your people; nor shall you (R)take a stand against the life of your neighbor: I am the Lord.
17 (S)‘You shall not hate your brother in your heart. (T)You shall surely [b]rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. 18 (U)You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, (V)but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
19 ‘You shall keep My statutes. You shall not let your livestock breed with another kind. You shall not sow your field with mixed seed. Nor shall a garment of mixed linen and wool come upon you.
20 ‘Whoever lies carnally with a woman who is (W)betrothed to a man as a concubine, and who has not at all been redeemed nor given her freedom, for this there shall be [c]scourging; but they shall not be put to death, because she was not free. 21 And he shall bring his trespass offering to the Lord, to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, a ram as a trespass offering. 22 The priest shall make [d]atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the Lord for his sin which he has committed. And the sin which he has committed shall be forgiven him.
23 ‘When you come into the land, and have planted all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as [e]uncircumcised. Three years it shall be as uncircumcised to you. It shall not be eaten. 24 But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, a praise to the Lord. 25 And in the fifth year you may eat its fruit, that it may yield to you its increase: I am the Lord your God.
26 ‘You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying. 27 You shall not shave around the sides of your head, nor shall you disfigure the edges of your beard. 28 You shall not (X)make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor tattoo any marks on you: I am the Lord.
29 (Y)‘Do not prostitute your daughter, to cause her to be a harlot, lest the land fall into harlotry, and the land become full of wickedness.
30 ‘You shall [f]keep My Sabbaths and (Z)reverence My sanctuary: I am the Lord.
31 ‘Give no regard to mediums and familiar spirits; do not seek after (AA)them, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God.
32 (AB)‘You shall [g]rise before the gray headed and honor the presence of an old man, and (AC)fear your God: I am the Lord.
33 ‘And (AD)if a stranger dwells with you in your land, you shall not mistreat him. 34 (AE)The stranger who dwells among you shall be to you as [h]one born among you, and (AF)you shall love him as yourself; for you were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
35 ‘You shall do no injustice in judgment, in measurement of length, weight, or volume. 36 You shall have (AG)honest scales, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
37 (AH)‘Therefore you shall observe all My statutes and all My judgments, and perform them: I am the Lord.’ ”

19 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the entire assembly of Israel(A) and say to them: ‘Be holy because I, the Lord your God,(B) am holy.(C)
3 “‘Each of you must respect your mother and father,(D) and you must observe my Sabbaths.(E) I am the Lord your God.(F)
4 “‘Do not turn to idols or make metal gods for yourselves.(G) I am the Lord your God.(H)
5 “‘When you sacrifice a fellowship offering to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf. 6 It shall be eaten on the day you sacrifice it or on the next day; anything left over until the third day must be burned up.(I) 7 If any of it is eaten on the third day, it is impure and will not be accepted.(J) 8 Whoever eats it will be held responsible(K) because they have desecrated what is holy(L) to the Lord; they must be cut off from their people.(M)

20 “‘If a man sleeps with a female slave who is promised to another man(AU) but who has not been ransomed or given her freedom, there must be due punishment.[a] Yet they are not to be put to death, because she had not been freed. 21 The man, however, must bring a ram to the entrance to the tent of meeting for a guilt offering to the Lord.(AV) 22 With the ram of the guilt offering the priest is to make atonement for him before the Lord for the sin he has committed, and his sin will be forgiven.(AW)
23 “‘When you enter the land and plant any kind of fruit tree, regard its fruit as forbidden.[b] For three years you are to consider it forbidden[c]; it must not be eaten. 24 In the fourth year all its fruit will be holy,(AX) an offering of praise to the Lord. 25 But in the fifth year you may eat its fruit. In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.

33 “‘When a foreigner resides among you in your land, do not mistreat them. 34 The foreigner residing among you must be treated as your native-born.(BN) Love them as yourself,(BO) for you were foreigners(BP) in Egypt.(BQ) I am the Lord your God.
35 “‘Do not use dishonest standards when measuring length, weight or quantity.(BR) 36 Use honest scales(BS) and honest weights, an honest ephah[d](BT) and an honest hin.[e](BU) I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt.(BV)
37 “‘Keep all my decrees(BW) and all my laws(BX) and follow them. I am the Lord.’”

19 Herren talade till Mose. Han sade: 2 Säg till Israels barns hela menighet: Ni skall vara heliga, ty jag, Herren, er Gud, är helig. 3 Var och en av er skall vörda sin mor och sin far. Mina sabbater skall ni hålla. Jag är Herren, er Gud. 4 Ni skall inte vända er till avgudar och inte göra er några gjutna gudar. Jag är Herren, er Gud.
5 När ni vill offra gemenskapsoffer åt Herren, skall ni offra det på sådant sätt att ni räknas som välbehagliga. 6 Det skall ätas samma dag som ni offrar det eller följande dag. Det som blir över till tredje dagen skall brännas upp i eld. 7 Om det äts på tredje dagen, är det en styggelse och blir inte mottaget. 8 Den som äter av det måste bära sin skuld, ty han har ohelgat det som var helgat åt Herren, och han skall utrotas ur sitt folk.
9 När ni bärgar skörden i ert land, skall du inte skörda till den yttersta kanten av åkern och inte plocka upp ströaxen efter din skörd. 10 Inte heller i din vingård skall du göra någon efterskörd, och de druvor som fallit av i din vingård skall du inte plocka upp. Du skall lämna detta kvar åt den fattige och åt främlingen. Jag är Herren, er Gud.
11 Ni skall inte stjäla eller ljuga eller bedra varandra.
12 Ni skall inte svära falskt vid mitt namn. Då ohelgar du din Guds namn. Jag är Herren.
13 Du skall inte förtrycka din nästa eller plundra honom. Du skall inte undanhålla daglönaren hans lön över natten till morgonen.
14 Du skall inte uttala förbannelser över en döv, och framför en blind skall du inte lägga något som han kan snava över. Du skall frukta din Gud. Jag är Herren.
15 Du skall inte handla orätt när du dömer. Du skall inte hålla med någon för att han är fattig och du skall inte vara partisk för den som har makt. Du skall döma din nästa med rättvisa.
16 Du skall inte gå med förtal bland ditt folk. Du skall inte stå efter din nästas blod. Jag är Herren.
17 Du skall inte hata din broder i ditt hjärta, men du skall tillrättavisa din nästa, så att du inte för hans skull kommer att bära på synd.
18 Du skall inte hämnas och inte hysa agg mot någon av ditt folk, utan du skall älska din nästa som dig själv. Jag är Herren.
19 Mina stadgar skall ni hålla: Du skall inte låta två slags djur av din boskap para sig med varandra. I din åker skall du inte så två slags säd. Ett klädesplagg av två olika slags garn skall du inte ta på dig.
20 Om en man har legat med en kvinna, som är en annan mans slavinna, och sädesuttömning har skett, och hon inte har blivit friköpt eller frigiven, skall de straffas men inte dödas, eftersom hon inte var fri. 21 Han skall föra fram sitt skuldoffer, en skuldoffersbagge, inför Herren, till uppenbarelsetältets ingång. 22 När prästen med skuldoffersbaggen bringar försoning för honom inför Herrens ansikte, får han förlåtelse för den synd han har begått.
23 När ni kommer in i landet och planterar träd av olika slag med ätbar frukt, skall ni se deras frukt som deras förhud. I tre år skall ni betrakta dem som oomskurna och inte äta deras frukt. 24 Under det fjärde året skall all deras frukt vara helig, ett gemenskapsoffer till Herren, 25 och först under det femte året skall ni äta deras frukt. Så skall ni göra för att de skall ge så mycket större avkastning åt er. Jag är Herren, er Gud.
26 Ni skall inte äta något som innehåller blod.
Ni skall inte befatta er med spådom eller trolldom. 27 Ni skall inte rundklippa kanten av ert hår, och inte heller skall du stympa kanten av ditt skägg.
28 Ni skall inte rista märken på er kropp för någon död och inte heller bränna in skrivtecken på er. Jag är Herren.
29 Vanära inte din dotter genom att låta henne bli en sköka, så att landet blir fördärvat genom otukt och uppfyllt av skamliga ting.
30 Mina sabbater skall ni hålla, och för min helgedom skall ni visa vördnad. Jag är Herren.
31 Vänd er inte till andebesvärjare eller till spåmän. Sök inte sådana, så att ni blir orena genom dem. Jag är Herren, er Gud.
32 För ett grått huvud skall du resa dig upp, och den gamle skall du ära. Du skall frukta din Gud. Jag är Herren.
33 När en främling bor hos er i ert land, skall ni inte förtrycka honom. 34 Främlingen som bor ibland er skall räknas som infödd hos er. Du skall älska honom som dig själv. Ni har ju själva varit främlingar i Egyptens land. Jag är Herren, er Gud.
35 Ni skall inte göra orätt när ni dömer i fråga om längd, vikt eller rymd. 36 Rätt våg, rätta vikter, rätt efa, rätt hin-mått skall ni ha. Jag är Herren, er Gud, som har fört er ut ur Egyptens land.
37 Så skall ni nu hålla alla mina stadgar och alla mina lagar och följa dem. Jag är Herren.
