²² Aaron lifted his hands toward the people and blessed them, and he came down after sacrificing the purification offering, the burnt offering, and the offering of well-being.

The Ascension of Jesus

⁵⁰ Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and, lifting up his hands, he blessed them.^(A)

⁵ Then the priests, the sons of Levi, shall come forward, for the Lord your God has chosen them to minister to him and to pronounce blessings in the name of the Lord, and by their decision all cases of dispute and assault shall be settled.^(A)

²³ “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying: Thus you shall bless the Israelites: You shall say to them:^(A)

²⁷ “So they shall put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”^(E)

⁹ Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse, but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing. It is for this that you were called—that you might inherit a blessing.^(A)

⁶ But this man, who does not belong to their ancestry, collected tithes^[a] from Abraham and blessed him who had received the promises.^{(A) 7} It is beyond dispute that the inferior is blessed by the superior.

²⁶ When God raised up his servant,^[a] he sent him first to you, to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”^(A)

¹⁶ And he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.^(A)

³ Then the king turned around and blessed all the assembly of Israel, while all the assembly of Israel stood.
