⁴⁵ But for their sake I will remember^(A) the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt^(B) in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.’”

³⁸ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan^(A) and to be your God.^(B)

²² But I withheld^(A) my hand, and for the sake of my name^(B) I did what would keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations in whose sight I had brought them out.

⁹ But for the sake of my name, I brought them out of Egypt.^(A) I did it to keep my name from being profaned^(B) in the eyes of the nations among whom they lived and in whose sight I had revealed myself to the Israelites.

³³ and who brought you out of Egypt^(A) to be your God.^(B) I am the Lord.”

¹⁵ Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. ¹⁶ But whenever anyone turns to the Lord,^(A) the veil is taken away.^(B)

²⁸ As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies^(A) for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs,^{(B) 29} for God’s gifts and his call^(C) are irrevocable.^(D)

²³ And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.^{(A) 24} After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree,^(B) how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!

All Israel Will Be Saved

²⁵ I do not want you to be ignorant^(C) of this mystery,^(D) brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited:^(E) Israel has experienced a hardening^(F) in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in,^{(G) 26} and in this way^[a] all Israel will be saved.^(H) As it is written:
