⁷ You shall not go outside the entrance of the tent of meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of the Lord is on you.” And they did as Moses had ordered.^(A)

¹² He shall not go outside the sanctuary and thus profane the sanctuary of his God, for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.^(A)

²¹ But it is God who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us,^(A)

³⁰ Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his vestments and also on his sons and their vestments. Thus he consecrated Aaron and his vestments and also his sons and their vestments.^(A)

⁴¹ You shall put them on your brother Aaron and on his sons with him and shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, so that they may serve me as priests.^(A)

³⁸ how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power; how he went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.^(A)

⁶⁰ And Jesus^[a] said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but as for you, go and proclaim the kingdom of God.”

¹² He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.^(A)

¹³ and put on Aaron the sacred vestments, and you shall anoint him and consecrate him, so that he may serve me as priest.^{(A) 14} You shall bring his sons also and put tunics on them ¹⁵ and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests; their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout all their generations.”^(B)

³⁰ You shall anoint Aaron and his sons and consecrate them to serve me as priests.^(A)
