18 Jael salió al encuentro de Sísara, y le dijo: «Venga[a], señor mío, venga[b] a mí; no tema». Y él fue[c] hacia ella a la tienda, y ella lo cubrió con una manta. 19 Y él le dijo: «Te ruego que me des a beber un poco de agua, porque tengo sed». Y ella abrió un odre de leche y le dio de beber(A); entonces lo cubrió. 20 Y él le dijo: «Ponte a la entrada de la tienda, y si alguien viene y te pregunta: “¿Hay alguien aquí?”, tú responderás: “No”».

18 Jael(A) went out to meet Sisera and said to him, “Come, my lord, come right in. Don’t be afraid.” So he entered her tent, and she covered him with a blanket.
19 “I’m thirsty,” he said. “Please give me some water.” She opened a skin of milk,(B) gave him a drink, and covered him up.
20 “Stand in the doorway of the tent,” he told her. “If someone comes by and asks you, ‘Is anyone in there?’ say ‘No.’”
