23 El dueño de la casa salió y dijo:
—No hagan esa maldad. Este hombre es un invitado en mi casa. No cometan ese terrible pecado.[a] 24 Miren, aquí está mi hija que nunca ha tenido relaciones sexuales, y también está la concubina de este hombre. Pueden hacer lo que quieran con ellas, pero no cometan ese terrible pecado contra este hombre.
25 Pero los hombres no le hicieron caso. El levita fue a buscar a su mujer y la obligó a salir. Los degenerados la obligaron a tener relaciones sexuales y la torturaron toda la noche. A la madrugada la dejaron y le dijeron que se fuera.

23 Pero el dueño de la casa les rogó:
—¡No, amigos míos, por favor! ¡No cometan tal perversidad, pues este hombre es mi huésped! 24 Miren, ahí está mi hija, que todavía es virgen. Y también está la concubina de este hombre. Voy a sacarlas para que las humillen y hagan con ellas lo que quieran. Pero con este hombre no cometan tal perversidad.
25 Pero ellos no le hicieron caso al anciano, así que el levita tomó a su concubina y la echó a la calle, y aquellos hombres la violaron y abusaron de ella toda la noche, hasta que amaneció. Entonces la dejaron.

23 The owner of the house went outside(A) and said to them, “No, my friends, don’t be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don’t do this outrageous thing.(B) 24 Look, here is my virgin daughter,(C) and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish. But as for this man, don’t do such an outrageous thing.”
25 But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her(D) and abused her(E) throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go.
