Judges 9:5-7

⁵ And he went to his father’s house at Ophrah, and killed his brethren, the sons of Jerubbaal, seventy people upon one stone. Still, Jotham, the youngest son of Jerubbaal, remained. For he hid himself.

⁶ And all the men of Shechem gathered together, with all the House of Millo, and came and made Abimelech king on the plain where the stone was erected in Shechem.

⁷ And when they told it to Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim and lifted up his voice and cried and said to them, “Listen to me, you men of Shechem, so that God may listen to you!
