Judges 7:20-22
Expanded Bible
20 All three groups of Gideon’s men blew their trumpets and smashed their jars. They held the torches in their left hands and the trumpets in their right hands. Then they shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 Each of Gideon’s men ·stayed [stood] in his place around the camp, but the Midianites began shouting and running to escape.
22 When Gideon’s three hundred men blew their trumpets, the Lord ·made all the Midianites fight each other with their swords [L set the sword of a man against his companion]! The enemy army ran away to the city of Beth Shittah toward Zererah. They ran as far as the border of Abel Meholah, near the city of Tabbath [C toward the southeast].

New International Version
20 The three companies blew the trumpets and smashed the jars. Grasping the torches(A) in their left hands and holding in their right hands the trumpets they were to blow, they shouted, “A sword(B) for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 While each man held his position around the camp, all the Midianites ran, crying out as they fled.(C)
22 When the three hundred trumpets sounded,(D) the Lord caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other(E) with their swords.(F) The army fled to Beth Shittah toward Zererah as far as the border of Abel Meholah(G) near Tabbath.

20 And the three companies blew the trumpets, and brake the pitchers, and held the lamps in their left hands, and the trumpets in their right hands to blow withal: and they cried, The sword of the Lord, and of Gideon.
21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp; and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.
22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the Lord set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.

20 Then the three companies blew the trumpets and broke the jars. They held in their left hands the torches, and in their right hands the trumpets to blow. (A)And they cried out, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!” 21 Every man stood in his place around the camp, (B)and all the army ran. They cried out and fled. 22 (C)When they blew the 300 trumpets, (D)the Lord set (E)every man's sword against his comrade and against all the army. And the army fled as far as Beth-shittah toward Zererah,[a] as far as the border of Abel-meholah, by Tabbath.
