Yahweh Sends Gideon to Save Israel

¹¹ Then ^(A)the angel of Yahweh came and sat under the ^[a]oak that was in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the ^(B)Abiezrite as his son ^(C)Gideon was beating out wheat in the wine press in order to ^[b]preserve it from the Midianites.

²⁴ So Gideon built an altar there to Yahweh and named it ^[a]Yahweh is Peace. To this day it is still ^(A)in Ophrah of the Abiezrites.

³⁴ But ^(A)the Spirit of Yahweh clothed Gideon; and he ^(B)blew a trumpet, and the Abiezrites were called together to follow him.
