Judges 16:10-12

¹⁰ Afterward, Delilah said to Samson, “See, you have mocked me and told me lies. I ask you now, please tell me with what you might be bound.

¹¹ Then he answered her, “If they bind me with new ropes that never were used, then shall I be weak and be as another man.”

¹² Delilah, therefore, took new ropes and bound him with them, and said to him, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And men lay in wait in the chamber, and he broke them from his arms, as a thread.
