Judges 11:19-21

¹⁹ ‘Israel also sent messengers to Sihon, king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon. And Israel said to him, “Please let us pass by your land to our place.”

²⁰ ‘But Sihon did not consent to Israel going through his territory. And Sihon gathered all his people together and camped in Jahaz and fought with Israel.

²¹ ‘And the LORD God of Israel gave Sihon and all his people into the hands of Israel and they struck them. So, Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country.
