⁴¹ And ^(A)Jair the son of Manasseh went and captured their villages, and called them Havvoth-jair.^[a]

¹⁴ He had forty ^(A)sons and thirty grandsons, who ^(B)rode on seventy donkeys, and he judged Israel eight years.

^14 (A)Jair the Manassite took all the region of Argob, that is, Bashan, as far as the border of ^(B)the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and called the villages ^(C)after his own name, Havvoth-jair, as it is to this day.)
