30 Dahil sa mga sinabing ito ni Jesus, gusto na sana siyang dakpin ng mga pinuno ng mga Judio, pero walang humuli sa kanya dahil hindi pa ito ang oras niya. 31 Sa kabila nito, marami pa rin sa mga tao ang sumampalataya sa kanya. Sinabi nila, “Siya na nga ang Cristo, dahil walang makakahigit sa mga himalang ginagawa niya.”

32 Narinig ng mga Pariseo ang usap-usapan ng mga tao tungkol kay Jesus. Kaya inutusan nila at ng mga namamahalang pari ang mga guwardya sa templo na dakpin si Jesus.
