17 Därifrån gick gränslinjen mot nordost till Shemeshkällan och vidare till Gelilot som ligger mitt emot Adummimshöjden. Därefter gick den ner till Bohans, Rubens sons, sten, 18 vidare utmed norra kanten av Bet Haarava ner i dalen 19 och förbi Bet-Hoglas höjd i norr för att sluta vid Döda havets norra vik som utgör södra änden av floden Jordan. Detta var sydgränsen.

17 Därefter drog den sig norrut och gick fram till Semeskällan och vidare till Gelilot, som ligger mitt emot Adummimshöjden, och gick så ned till Bohans, Rubens sons, sten.
18 Vidare gick den fram till den höjd som ligger framför Hedmarken, norrut, och så ned till Hedmarken.
19 Sedan gick gränsen fram till Bet-Hoglas höjd, norrut, och så gick gränsen ut till Salthavets norra vik, vid Jordans södra ända. Detta var södra gränsen.

17 It then curved north, went to En Shemesh, continued to Geliloth,(A) which faces the Pass of Adummim,(B) and ran down to the Stone of Bohan(C) son of Reuben. 18 It continued to the northern slope of Beth Arabah[a](D) and on down into the Arabah.(E) 19 It then went to the northern slope of Beth Hoglah(F) and came out at the northern bay of the Dead Sea,(G) at the mouth of the Jordan in the south. This was the southern boundary.
