⁷ But they cried^(A) to the Lord for help, and he put darkness^(B) between you and the Egyptians; he brought the sea over them and covered them.^(C) You saw with your own eyes what I did to the Egyptians.^(D) Then you lived in the wilderness for a long time.^(E)
