²⁴ And they said to Joshua, “The Lord has indeed handed over to us all the land; furthermore, ^(A)all the inhabitants of the land have despaired because of us.”

⁸ And the Lord said to Joshua, “^(A)Do not fear them, for I have handed them over to you; not ^[a]one of them will stand against you.”

⁶ Yet the Lord said to Joshua, “^(A)Do not be afraid because of them, for tomorrow at this time I am going to turn all of them over to Israel as good as dead; you shall ^(B)hamstring their horses and burn their chariots with fire.”
