Joshua 19:47-49

⁴⁷ (But later, the people of Dan failed to take their land and keep it. So they went to attack Leshem. They took the town and they killed its people. Then they lived there themselves. They called the city Dan, after their ancestor.)

⁴⁸ That was the land that Joshua gave to the families of Dan's tribe, as well as the towns and their villages.

⁴⁹ When all the tribes had received their part of the land, the Israelites gave to Joshua, son of Nun, some land for himself.
