⁴⁷ (·But the Danites had trouble taking their land [^LWhen the territory of the sons/descendants of Dan was lost to them…]. They went and fought against Leshem [or Laish; ^Cin the far north between Naphtali and West Manasseh], defeated it, and ·killed the people who lived there [^Lstruck it with the edge of the sword].
