The Conquered Kings

12 Now these are the kings of the land whom Bnei-Yisrael defeated and possessed their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon, and all the Arabah eastward: King Sihon of the Amorites, who lived in Heshbon and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and the middle of the valley, and half Gilead, even up to the Jabbok River, the border of the children of Ammon; and the Arabah up to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and as far as the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, eastward the way to Beth-jeshimoth, and on the south, at the foot of the slopes of Pisgah. Also the territory of King Og of Bashan, one of the remnant of the Rephaim, who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, and ruled over Mount Hermon and Salcah and all Bashan, as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and half of Gilead, as far as the border of King Sihon of Heshbon. Moses the servant of Adonai and Bnei-Yisrael defeated them, then Moses the servant of Adonai gave it as a possession to the Reubenites, Gadites, and half-tribe of Manasseh.

Now these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and Bnei-Yisrael defeated beyond the Jordan westward, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak that goes up to Seir (Joshua gave it to the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions: in the hill country, in the lowland, in the Arabah, on the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the Negev, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites and the Jebusites): one king of Jericho, one king of Ai which was near Bethel, 10 one king of Jerusalem, one king of Hebron, 11 one king of Jarmuth, one king of Lachish, 12 one king of Eglon, one king of Gezer, 13 one king of Debir, one king of Geder, 14 one king of Hormah, one king of Arad, 15 one king of Libnah, one king of Adullam, 16 one king of Makkedah, one king of Bethel, 17 one king of Tappuah, one king of Hepher, 18 one king of Aphek, one king of Sharon, 19 one king of Madon, one king of Hazor, 20 one king of Shimron-meron, one king of Achshaph, 21 one king of Taanach, one king of Megiddo, 22 one king of Kedesh, one king of Jokneam in Carmel, 23 one king of Dor in the region of Dor, one king of Goiim in the Gilgal, 24 one king of Tirzah, for a total of 31 kings.

Kings Defeated by Moses

12 Now these are the kings of the land whom the people of Israel defeated and took possession of their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise, from (A)the Valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon, with all (B)the Arabah eastward: (C)Sihon king of the Amorites who lived at Heshbon and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the Valley of the Arnon, and (D)from the middle of the valley as far as the (E)river Jabbok, the boundary of the Ammonites, that is, half of Gilead, and (F)the Arabah (G)to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and in the direction of Beth-jeshimoth, to the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, southward to the foot of (H)the slopes of Pisgah; and (I)Og[a] king of Bashan, one of the remnant of (J)the Rephaim, (K)who lived at Ashtaroth and at Edrei and ruled over (L)Mount Hermon and (M)Salecah and all Bashan (N)to the boundary of the Geshurites and the Maacathites, and over half of Gilead to the boundary of Sihon king of Heshbon. (O)Moses, the servant of the Lord, and the people of Israel defeated them. And Moses the servant of the Lord (P)gave their land for a possession to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh.

Kings Defeated by Joshua

And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the people of Israel defeated on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal-gad in the Valley of Lebanon to (Q)Mount Halak, that rises toward Seir (and Joshua gave their land to the tribes of Israel as a possession (R)according to their allotments, (S)in the hill country, in the lowland, in the Arabah, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the Negeb, the land of (T)the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites): (U)the king of Jericho, one; (V)the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one; 10 (W)the king of Jerusalem, one; (X)the king of Hebron, one; 11 (Y)the king of Jarmuth, one; (Z)the king of Lachish, one; 12 (AA)the king of Eglon, one; (AB)the king of Gezer, one; 13 (AC)the king of Debir, one; the king of Geder, one; 14 the king of Hormah, one; the king of Arad, one; 15 (AD)the king of Libnah, one; the king of Adullam, one; 16 (AE)the king of Makkedah, one; (AF)the king of Bethel, one; 17 the king of Tappuah, one; the king of Hepher, one; 18 the king of Aphek, one; the king of Lasharon, one; 19 (AG)the king of Madon, one; (AH)the king of Hazor, one; 20 (AI)the king of Shimron-meron, one; (AJ)the king of Achshaph, one; 21 (AK)the king of Taanach, one; (AL)the king of Megiddo, one; 22 the king of Kedesh, one; the king of Jokneam in Carmel, one; 23 (AM)the king of Dor in (AN)Naphath-dor, one; the king of Goiim in Galilee,[b] one; 24 the king of Tirzah, one: in all, thirty-one kings.
