¹⁴ Then the border extended around the west side to the south, from the hill that lies before Beth Horon southward; and ^[a]it ended at ^(A)Kirjath Baal (which is Kirjath Jearim), a city of the children of Judah. This was the west side.

⁹ Then the border went around from the top of the hill to ^(A)the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and extended to the cities of Mount Ephron. And the border went around ^(B)to Baalah (which is ^(C)Kirjath Jearim).

⁵ So ^(A)David gathered all Israel together, from ^(B)Shihor in Egypt to as far as the entrance of Hamath, to bring the ark of God ^(C)from Kirjath Jearim. ⁶ And David and all Israel went up to ^(D)Baalah,^[a] to Kirjath Jearim, which belonged to Judah, to bring up from there the ark of God the Lord, ^(E)who dwells between the cherubim, where His name is proclaimed.

² And ^(A)David arose and went with all the people who were with him from ^[a]Baale Judah to bring up from there the ark of God, whose name is called ^[b]by the Name, the Lord of Hosts, ^(B)who dwells between the cherubim.

7 Then the men of ^(A)Kirjath Jearim came and took the ark of the Lord, and brought it into the house of ^(B)Abinadab on the hill, and ^(C)consecrated Eleazar his son to keep the ark of the Lord.
